A unique employment opportunity in AL AIN, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES for a motivated landscape professional to gain valuable experience in the landscaping industry.

Reporting to the Agricultural Manager, working hours shall be 8am until 6pm, with one hour break.

CRITERIA

• Female Arab national aged 27 to 35 years.
• Arabic and English language fluency.
• Bachelor degree in agriculture with a horticulture focus.
• 3+ years experience in landscaping, including practical hands on experience and large scale projects.
• Experienced with all types of flowers (summer and winter annuals and perennial), shrubs, trees, and UAE planting seasons.
• Experienced with a wide range of plants in the context of landscape design, including aquatic plants.
• Creative and imaginative with flower & plant colours and space.
• Extensive experience in the production of decorative plants and methods of breeding.
• Field experience in maintaining and sustaining ground covers, including grass.
• Experienced with various types of irrigation systems (eg. drippers, bubbler, spray).
• Extensive experience in the design and the formation of grounds and parks within palaces and villas, including water gardens, water basins, fountains, rock gardens and desert gardens.
• Extensive experience in the diagnosis of diseases and insect infestation that affects garden plants.
• Good knowledge of organic and chemical pesticides and their application.
• Experience in the supervision and management landscaping teams.
• Experienced with AutoCAD and Photoshop software applications.
• Attention to detail.
• Self-motivated team player with a solid work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure and within deadlines.
• Of good character, personable, and presentable.
