Our Client's Chemical Division URGENTLY requires a PURCHASING / PROCUREMENT MANAGER. The successful Candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in the procurement of construction chemicals, both inside and outside of the Middle East region.

The job will be based in DAMMAM, SAUDI ARABIA, just an hour drive across the causeway to the ever progressive BAHRAIN.


DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for the timely and cost effective provision of supplies and services according to the project schedule, sales forecast specifically to the chemical products industry.
• Reporting monthly, you will be responsible for optimizing supply chain costs and ensuring savings are achieved against budget at either project outset or purchasing status.
• Ensure that contracts are negotiated with suppliers that transfer appropriate risk to the supply chain and flow down the necessary terms and conditions from the customer.
• Manage export licenses issues related to supplied items, manage sub-contracts and identify purchasing saving opportunities and ultimately play an active part in the development of global purchasing strategy and process.
• Maintain professional business relationships with all suppliers based on evaluation of their technical, financial and reliable capabilities in the Middle East regions.
