The company is comprised of twenty-three different divisions, joint ventures and standalone companies. The group offers a wide range of products and services, including: engineering and contracting, marine services, port management, automation and control, manufacturing, transport & logistics and telecom products.

Our Client's Chemical Division urgently requires a CHIEF ACCOUNTANT to conduct and oversee all financial aspects of the Division. Our Client wishes to consider only applicants with a working lifetime of experience and rigid in approach. The role is considered particularly suitable to a Pakistani National over 50 years old. 

The job will be based in DAMMAM, SAUDI ARABIA, just an hour drive across the causeway to the ever progressive BAHRAIN.


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • 20+ years of financial accounting experience
  • Well-versed in international accounting standards, with a high degree of integrity and commitment
  • Capable of successfully handling accounts up to finalization and audit, generate monthly financials, manage working capital (receivables, payables & inventory)
  • Solid experience in financial planning and reviewing costs
  • Audit experience
  • Fluent in English, written and oral
  • Excellent knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Office and especially Excel.
  • Managerial experience
  • A finance or accounting related Bachelor's Degree
  • An eye for detail, and unbending expense control

DESIRABLES
  • The role is considered suitable for Pakistani nationals aged 50 years plus.
  • The ability to communicate in Arabic will be an advantage
  • Already based in Saudi would be an advantage, but a release from any existing employer would be required
