Our Client is a leading global Commercial Bank with an enviable reputation for job satisfaction and career opportunities. A BRANCH MANAGER is urgently needed for its branch in Al Ain, UAE.

 

JOB PURPOSE

To manage branch operational / sales activities and issues in order to achieve targets as per defined controls, procedures, and compliance / regulatory requirements within agreed Turn Around Time and Service Level Agreements. To ensure that no previous audit objections / observations remain outstanding and to achieve at least satisfactory audit rating for the year. 
 
 
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Develop and utilise opportunities to increase sales to existing customers maintaining adequate conversion rates and pro-active cross selling.
  • Develop new business and conduct outside calls, pro-actively identify opportunities within the market and establishes lead generation strategies.
  • Develop weekly branch sales plans, set goals for the sales and service team and ensure accountability for sales and referral performance.
  • Ensure that all customers receive prompt and courteous service, address and resolve all client concerns and queries.
  • Lead by example as a "Sales & Service" Champion by introducing new service initiatives in the branch.
  • Coach and mentor the service team on delivering premiuim service to existing and prospective clients.
  • Ensure all bank's transactions are in accordance with bank's compliance policy and audit requirements.
  • Ensure that all audit notes are adhered to and implemented and work towards achieving a satisfactory audit rating for the branch.
  • Work with Business Operations Manager to set Management by Objectives that are specific and measurable and consistent with the bank's core values.
  • Coach, motivate, and develop employees including providing training on product knowledge, sales, service, and bank's policy and procedures.
  • Ensure staff rotation to create back ups.
  • Manage branch's budgets and resources optimally.
  • Ensure smooth operation of the branch by administering and managing the day to day acitvities of the branch.
 
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
  • Bachelor's degree graduate.
  • A minimum of 4 years UAE banking experience, with 2 years as branch manager.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Effective negotiator.
  • Ability to communicate and interact at all levels within and outside the organisation in a meaningful way.
 
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
  • Arab national.
  • MBA graduate.
 
REMUNERATION
  • AED 18,000 to 22,000 per month.
  • Fixed Eid bonus & yearly performance bonus.
  • 30 days annual paid leave.
  • Return airfares to home country for entire family.
  • Full medical coverage for entire family.
