Our Client is a leading global Commercial Bank with an enviable reputation for job satisfaction and career opportunities. A CORPORATE COLLECTION AND RECOVERY MANAGER is urgently needed for DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES.

JOB PURPOSE

To manage the recoveries of non-performing loans and advances including the redemption of guarantees from the beneficiaries by tracing the assets (business + properties) of defaulters.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manage and recover the non-performing loans and advances of the bank.
Visit and trace the business place and assets of defaulted borrowers.
Review and revisit the available charge documents of defaulted borrowers and strive to improve the documentation related deficiencies by arranging fresh settlement agreements covering previous defects.
Maintain continuous liaison with legal experts and dealing with lawyers handling the cases and provide them with vital information about the accounts / documents.
Maintain adequate level of provision in the account by debarring its further downgrading and deterioration.
Increase the recovery opportunities by persuading the defaulters and making them agree to negotiation / settlement agreements.
Provide guidance to junior staff and peers and increase internal and external customer satisfaction along with staff satisfaction.
Strive for satisfactory audit rating.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

A minimum of 5 years banking experience in credit approval and structuring, credit administration, and trade finance.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong analytical and organisational skills.
Effective negotiator.
Ability to interact at all levels within and outside the organisation.
Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Law.
