Our Client is a leading global Commercial Bank with an enviable reputation for job satisfaction and career opportunities. A BRANCH OPERATIONS MANAGER is urgently needed for its branch in ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES.

JOB PURPOSE

To manage branch operational activities and issues in order to complete transactions as per defined controls, procedures, and compliance / regulatory requirements within the agreed Turn Around Time and Service Level Agreements. To ensure that no previous audit objections / observations remain outstanding and to achieve at least satisfactory audit rating for the year.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Ensure smooth branch operational activities for business growth.
Act as Main Custodian of the branch (responsible for the vault & combination of strong room and ATMs, security items and precious items of the branch, and security stationary).
Maintain branch premises and take charge of Trade Licenses, Ministry of Economy Certificates, and other related branch documents and permits.
Ensure at least satisfactory internal and external audit rating.
Responsible for record keeping and balancing of monthly proofs.
Liaise with Central Operations to enhance operational activities of the branch.
Enhance image of the bank.
Ensure transparency exists at all levels.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

A minimum of 4 years banking experience, with 2 years in branch operations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong analytical and organisational skills.
Effective negotiator.
Ability to communicate and interact at all levels within and outside the organisation in a meaningful way.
Bachelor's degree graduate.
