Our Client is a leading global Commercial Bank with an enviable reputation for job satisfaction and career opportunities. A BRANCH MANAGER is urgently needed for its branch in ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES.


JOB PURPOSE

To develop and maintain operational strategy for the branch through the preparation and monitoring of business plans and budgets designed to deliver all agreed financial objectives and targets aligned with the Bank's policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Develop and utilise opportunities to increase sales to existing customers maintaining adequate conversion rates and pro-active cross selling.
  • Develop new business and conduct outside calls, proactively identify opportunities within the market and establish lead generation strategies.
  • Ensure all customers receive prompt and courteous service; address and resolve all client concerns and queries.
  • Coach and mentor the service team on delivering premium service to existing and prospective clients.
  • Ensures all Bank's transactions are in accordance with Bank's compliance policy and audit requirements.
  • Work with the Branch Operations Manager and Sales & Service Manager to set objectives that are specific and measurable and consistent with the Bank's core values.
  • Coach, motivate, and develop employees including providing training on product knowledge, sales, service, and the Bank's policy and procedures.
  • Manage branch budgets and resources optimally.
  • Ensure smooth operation of the branch by administering its day to day activities.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
  • A minimum of 6 years banking experience, with 3 years in retail banking.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and project management skills.
  • Proven track record of building and managing a solid team.
  • Core experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
  • Impressive track record of establishing business relationships.
  • Ability to interact at all levels within and outside the organisation.
  • Bachelors degree graduate.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA
  • GCC banking experience.
  • MBA graduate.
