Our Client is one of the world's best known international banks, with branches worldwide, and a leading presence in the United Arab Emirates.

In its continuing effort to build a customer-focused consumer banking operation, our Client urgently requires a BUSINESS PLANNING ASSOCIATE. This is an exciting support role in the bank as the candidate will be involved in sales strategy. 

Your main role is to support the Head of Strategy and Head of National Sales in the UAE in all aspects of leading the development and managing the sales and business performance of the various businesses (Lending, Liabilities, and SME) under the Consumer Banking banner.

The salary on offer (all inclusive) is from AED 13,000 to 18,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Co-develop country sales strategy in alignment with the UAE and Group Bank Strategy.
  • Conceptualise and articulate strategies and executable framework within the country.
  • Develop and refresh sales strategy and framework of existing channels aligned with multiproduct and cross sell, working in conjunction with business heads and support functions.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual sales budget and subsequent quarterly forecasts.
  • Liaise with Sales Managers, HR, and Finance to develop Capacity Plan, Course of Action, and Productivity Metrics.
  • Work with Central Real Estate Services Team and Direct Sales Agencies for all premises planning and premises-related costs.
  • Assist in the preparation of Business Case, Cost Benefit Analysis, Program Approval Requests for new initiatives, models, and channels.
  • Project Manage new business initiatives that are to be implemented as part of the strategy.
  • Work with the Head of Strategy, Head of National Sales and Sales Managers to help ensure effective communication of key business messages, especially process changes across Consumer Banking sales management and externally.
  •    Design, analyse and implement Management Information Systems (MIS) across various channels for better performance, improved productivity and quick decision making.
  • Play a key role in preparing strategic and performance related presentations and reviews for various audiences.
  • Provide insight and MIS support for sales reviews at product level with Heads of Sales and when necessary, to ensure uniform execution and performance management.
  • Analyse sales data to provide meaningful insights to Sales Management & Sales Governance.
  • Assist in the consolidation and completion of monthly sales information for the UAE.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • University graduate.
  • Solid years of experience with in-depth strategic planning.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem solving skills with a good eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership quality.
  • A self-starter attitude with an appetite for new and unexplored challenges.
  • A very good arranger and highly organised to handle multiple tasks in a timely and effective fashion.

DESIRABLES
  • MBA qualified.
  • Experience in bank strategic planning.
