Our Client is one of the leading providers of the finest, most modern, and innovative swimming pools in the UAE. Knowing the swimming pool industry inside out, our Client's British-led team are committed to customer satisfaction.

Our Client urgently seeks a PROJECTS / CONTRACTS MANAGER to be based in Muscat, Oman.

You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, execution, control, and completion of projects on time and to the necessary quality standards. 


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Planning of projects: Programming, Method Statements, Project Tasks and Resource Requirements.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects.
  • Manage project engineers, office planning, and CAD support staff.
  • Effective communication with clients, consultants, and main contractors.
  • Effective contract documentation and correspondence.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 5 years Project / Contract Management experience (preferably swimming pool industry), a minimum of 3 years of which is in the Gulf.
  • Engineering / QS degree.
  • 32 to 42 years old.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Able to deliver in high pressure situations.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Project (or similar Project software).

DESIRABLES
  • An individual who has progressed within a blue-chip, Western-managed construction / contracting company.
  • Our client feels that this role will suit Indian / Australian / British nationals.

Salary offer will be negotiable and depending on candidates' qualifications and experience.
