Our client is a Power and Desalination Plant located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Due to project expansion a Storekeeper cum Procurement Officer is required immediately.


DESCRIPTION
  • Responsible for the ordering, receiving, tracing, storing, and retrieving of the plant's spare and consumable parts and supplies.
  • Knowledge of material and parts requisitioning, receiving reports, vendors, suppliers, import duties, shipping terms and methods.
  • Assist the Maintenance & Planning / Scheduling departments for procurement of parts and supplies on a timely basis, retrieved and packaged for delivery to the end-user.
  • Maintain and update the material management filling system.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
  • At least four years experience in material handling or warehousing in the UAE.
  • Bachelor degree / diploma in Business or Engineering Operations Management
  • Experience in computer applications such as word processing (Word, Word Perfect), MP2, spreadsheets (Excel, Lotus, Access), graphics (Freelance, PowerPoint, Harvard), typing, and telephone use.
  • Excellent knowledge in " Procurement and Inventory " ERP system.
  • Working knowledge of material management systems.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical, organised, and ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • Team player and inter-personal relationship skills.
  • UAE driving license.

DESIRABLES
  • Experience in a power / desalination plant..
  • Knowledge and experience in Maximo system.
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS).
  • Can join immediately with no visa problems.

REMUNERATION
  • AED 9,500 to 10,000 per month (includes accommodation and transport allowances), depending on experience and qualifications
