A Livestock Manager is needed in the livestock division to run Farm Operations in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. The position reports to the Executive Director.

Working hours will be a early morning start, for a finish around 1pm.

DUTIES

• Manage the breeding of sheep, camels, and cows but not limited to those breeds.
• Manage poultry as well as various wild birds and wildlife in forests.
• Manage nutrition and environmental conditions, and work programs for breeding and production.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Arab national. Iraqi, Jordanian or Egyptian nationals will be considered favorably.
• Male aged 35 to 45 years.
• Veterinary degree.
• 10+ years experience.
• Fluent in Arabic and English languages.
• Have good knowledge in minor surgery and some major operations.
• Good knowledge of immunisations programs and diagnosis of different diseases.
• Experience with the reproductive processes of sheep, camels, cows and other breeds.
• Experience in the field of horses in terms of breeding and living conditions, nutrition and reproductive processes.
• Experience in deers in their living conditions, nutrition and their standard of disease and epidemics, vaccinations and preventive treatments and reproduction.
• Early start to mid afternoon finish.
