Our Client is a world leading oil & gas operator in Papua New Guinea.

An immediate requirement has arisen for a SAFETY HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT ADVISOR.

DUTIES

• Develop and design policies for the business in Safety, Health and Environment
• Recommend and Implement Business Improvement Plan
• Introduce Industry best practices of safety in industrial environmentS.
• Design process control manuals.
• Provide training on safely procedures.
• Identify, Document and Build minimum safety standards for a businesS.
• Implement using task based project approach.
• Some travel within PNG may be required.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Trained in Health, Safety and Environment practices.
• Tertiary qualifications in business management or commercial law.
• At least 10 years of work experience in Consulting, Management or Advisory functions.
• Non-PNG citizens must possess current PNG work permit and employment visa.
• Willingness to travel within PNG.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

• Experience in the construction, mining or financial sector.

Duration of contract will be based on assignment with competitive daily rates.
