Our Client is a world leading oil & gas operator in Papua New Guinea.

An immediate requirement has arisen for a INVENTORY CONTROL ADVISOR.


DUTIES

  • Develop and design processes for the business on Warehouse Management and Inventory Control.
  • Recommended and implement Business Improvement Plan for supply chain and logistics functions.
  • Introduce industry best practices of Inventory, Equipment and Warehouse Management.
  • Provide training to staff and management.
  • Design and build management information reports.
  • Implement inventory procedures and documentation using task based project approach.
  • Some travel within PNG may be required.


ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Diploma / training on Inventory or Procurement Management
  • Tertiary qualifications in business management or Accounting
  • At least 10 years of work experience in Consulting, Management or Advisory functions.
  • Experience in Warehouse or Procurement department of construction, mining or resource sector.
  • Non-PNG citizens must possess current PNG work permit and employment visa.
  • Willingness to travel within PNG.


DESIRABLE CRITERIA

  • Exposure to ERP systems – Materials Management.

 


Duration of contract will be based on assignment with competitive daily rates.
