• Assign tasks and facilitate work flow within the group to meet technical goals and project schedules
• Perform and lead structural design of large welded and bolted structures, to accommodate extreme, buckling, and fatigue loads
• Generate written product specifications, work instructions, and procedures
• Develop innovative new concepts for structures and mechanisms, and refine existing ones, to support machine components with high reliability and at low cost
• Perform and lead generation and formal release of CAD models,detail fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of materials
• Address corrosion of nearshore and offshore structures
• Define new-product test requirements, support quality tests, and follow through to manufacturing
• Support suppliers, contractors, and other departments to help ensure quality of structural components through fabrication, transport, and assembly in the field
• Create project reports, and perform design reviews and presentations

• At least 7 years experience with large mechanical equipment (turbines, compressors, plant pumps, water tanks)
• Must have maintenance experience in Power or Desalination Plant.
• Bachelor of Engineering degree
• Microsoft Office software proficiency
• Strong English language skills, both written and verbal
• Availability to work extend hours, weekends and holidays as required

REMUNERATION

• AED 12000 - 15000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Salary stated above includes accommodation allowance, and transport allowance for to and from work.
