Our client, a thriving and prominent UAE organisation, is urgently seeking a Senior level Office Manager to take overall responsibility for ensuring that the CEO's office operates in a smooth, efficient and effective manner by assisting in a broad range of functions.

Although official hours will be a standard 8-hour day, 5-day week, as the CEO's executive personal assistant you will need to be completely flexible with hours, and available around the clock at short notice.

This position will be based in RAS AL KHAIMAH, the northernmost emirate of the United Arab Emirates, and just an hour's drive from the more southern and better known emirate of Dubai.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serving as the primary administrative support to the CEO by assisting him with a wide variety of highly complex, responsible and confidential administrative duties.
  • Maintaining and updating diary appointments, organisation of meetings, making travel arrangements and organising business trips on the CEO's behalf.
  • Independently drafting and responding to correspondence on behalf of the CEO.
  • Attending to VIPs, delegates and senior level client representatives on behalf of the CEO.
  • Researching, analysing and presenting data for reports and other materials and to expedite work flow.
  • Composition and preparation of letters, reports, memoranda, speeches and other confidential documents.
  • Coordination of assigned projects for reports with outside agencies, Boards and CEOs.
  • Supervision of Executive Office employees.
  • Acting as a liaison and representative of the CEO's office at all times.


ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Available around the clock at short notice. 
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in a Business Administration or Behavioural Science related discipline from a recognised college or university.
  • 5+ years experience in a similar or related organisation in a senior administration or office support role.
  • Business Analyst experience or exposure.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Female applicants only.
  • Proficient in computer software, applications and internet.  Extensive experience and expertise with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Exchange, electronic time management systems, electronic mail tracking systems.
  • Good knowledge of e-commerce, distance learning and e-government applications.
  • Outstanding skills in Office Management and Secretarial tasks.
  • Well organised, highly efficient and time management aware.
  • Extremely professional and well presented.
  • Culturally aware and sensitive (due to multi cultural work environment and reports).


PREFERRED CRITERIA

  • Western European, Australian, Canadian and US candidates preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of Arabic and other Far Eastern and European languages an advantage.


Due to the demands of the job, the successful applicant will need to relocate to Ras Al Khaimah.
