Our Client, a thriving and prominent UAE organisation, is seeking a degree qualified Marketing Director to be responsible for image and branding, product and service promotion, generating investment leads and for the development of website, e-marketing and promotional materials of its organisation.

The position will be based in RAS AL KHAIMAH, the northern-most emirate of the United Arab Emirates, and just an hour's drive from the more southern and better known emirate of Dubai.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Marketing of organisation's strategic medium to long term plans for development of business plans.
• Preparation of annual marketing plans and budgets and monthly progress reports.
• Review of choice of target markets and the development of programs for establishing contacts with overseas companies.
• Initiation and supervison of design and production of promotional and public relations materials, publications, web sites and advertisements.
• Overseeing of planned visits, meetings and conferences arranged for potential and existing clients, official and media delegations.
• Collation and analysis of competitor information.
• Management of 10 direct reports including performance, supervision and training of the team in the most effective and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• 5+ years relevant experience in a Senior Marketing role.
• Proven track record of strategic and commercial business management.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Age 30 to 40 years.
• Degree holder in Marketing / Business Generation related disciplines.
• Culturally sensitive and the ability to develop strong relationships with key alliance partner representatives.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally (around 20% of total time may be spent travelling internationally).
• Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Presentable both professionally and personally and highly sociable.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

• Knowledge of Arabic and other Far Eastern languages.
• MBA degree holder.
• Experience with an international trade organisation.

REMUNERATION

• Remuneration will be highly dependent on the qualifications, credentials and experience of the successful applicant.
