Our Client is a major manufacturer and distributer of high quality  personal and homecare products across five core categories - Liquids, Aerosols, Bar Soaps, Detergent powders and Industrial Cleaning Powders.  They are committed to providing quality in their manufacturing and service delivery.

An opening now exists for a BRAND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to improve the value and financial contribution of our Client's brands. 

KEY ACTIVITIES 

• Collect and evaluate market and consumer information on relevant territories and product groups.
• Own, document, sell and ensure delivery of brand strategies and activity plans which lead to a greater financial contribution from the brand portfolio to the company.
• Identify and analyse market potential and opportunities.
• Provide direction for required product development programme.
• Work with Project and Operational Managers on live projects to ensure they consistently deliver benchmark expectations.
• Develop and optimise brand positioning and values.
• Develop relationships with external agencies and provide PR material as required.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA 

• Degree in Marketing and Business Studies.
• Aged between 27 and 37.
• Minimum 3 years experience with brands supplied to multiple retailers.
• Core competencies of creativity, communication, accuracy and professionalism.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills.
• Analytical, organsiational and problem solving skills.
• Financially astute with excellent business and marketing background.

DESIRED CRITERIA

• Arabic speaker from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
• Experience working in mixed cultural and ethnic environments.
