Our Client is a major manufacturer and distributer of high quality personal and homecare products across five core categories - Liquids, Aerosols, Bar Soaps, Detergent Powders, and Industrial Cleaning Powders.  They are committed to providing quality in their manufacturing and service delivery.

An opening now exists for the development and management of the African market.  The position will be based in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. Travel to the African continent will be required.

KEY ACTIVITIES

• Development of opportunities in the African market.
• Management and control of budgets, development planning and forecasting.
• Negotiation and development of new customer accounts, account agreements and business relationships.
• Communication to distributors and customers of brand developments and new products.
• Creation of ownership of performance management by achievment of objectives and goals set.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Degree holder.
• UAE resident and willingness to travel.
• Aged 27 to 37 years.
• Minimum 3 years experience - industry related preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills.
• Cross-functional understanding of distribution and supply chain management.
• Core competencies of time management, customer understanding, planning and organising, relationship building and results focussed.
• Experience working with decision makers and partners against a wide range of performance indicator targets and standards.
• Willingness to travel to Africa.
